1:45 PM – 02:00 PM | Drive to the Coast
-
02:00 PM – 03:15 PM | Relax at Zanee Beach (Beach51)
-
The driver will take you to Zanee Beach near Cape Maeda. Accessed via a lush tunnel of tropical plants, this is a secluded, picture-perfect beach filled with natural caves, unique rock formations, and white sugar sand. It is highly photogenic and feels like a true hidden gem compared to the resort beaches.
-
-
03:15 PM – 03:30 PM | Drive to Yomitan Village
-
Heading just slightly south into the neighboring village of Yomitan for a cultural addition.
-
-
03:30 PM – 04:30 PM | New Activity: Yachimun no Sato (Pottery Village)
-
With the extra time saved from the Naha drive, you can wander through this incredibly peaceful, traditional artisan village. They can explore independent studios, see the massive climbing kilns, and shop for unique Okinawan ceramics straight from the makers.
-
-
04:30 PM – 05:00 PM | Bakery Stop at Bakery Suien
-
Note: I swapped Mugiyakiya for Bakery Suien to fit the new route. Suien is a legendary “hidden gem” bakery tucked away in the Yomitan jungle, very close to the pottery village. It looks like a rustic fairytale cottage, and they bake incredible artisanal bread in a traditional stone oven. It is the perfect spot for a late-afternoon treat.
-
-
05:00 PM – 05:30 PM | Return Journey to Aquasense
-
A comfortable 30-minute drive back up the coast to the hotel.
-
-
05:30 PM | Tour Concludes at Aquasense Hotel & Resort
